I think this is all b — ls — t. The Great State of Maryland requires a photo ID for just about everything concerning government. Simply put; you go to the Motor Vehicle Administration with a certified birth certificate and two pieces of official mail from other than family or friends, to prove residency, and you get a photo ID. Why can’t other states follow suit? Also, voters are required to register or change affiliation at least 60 days prior to an election. Sounds like a great idea to me. P.S. I am 61 and have been a registered Independent since I was 18.
