Uber is the Netscape of transportation.

I’m honestly not excited. I see the future and it worries me greatly, primarily in that I don’t believe our government (regardless of who’s in power at the moment) is going to be capable of adapting to meet the challenges of a new world where tens of thousands of people are losing their jobs to a fresh wave of automation.

In a better world I would be excited for the idea of the coming reduction in hours worked and increase in standard of living, but I very much doubt that Americans will get their share of that.
