Then how would you address the “real” problem? How do you create work with no profit incentive? If it’s cheaper to use a robot, and it will be for nearly every job, then how do you make people hire humans? I see only two ways, either regulate the use of robots, which will result in the US being outcompeted by countries that don’t do that, or pay the companies to hire humans, which then results in the money having to come from somewhere again.
