Kind of weird that he doesn’t mention genetic engineering. Wonder if there is a reason for that.

I suppose you could argue that while the products generated by genetic engineering will be dramatic and newsworthy they might not have much economic impact. Agriculture and research are pretty small sectors and health care by its nature advances very slowly. The culture is going to be involved bigtime, though.
