What are you talking about? Are you following the employment statistics at all? Something like 2 million jobs have been created in this country this year. The unemployment rate — 4.6% — is lower than it has been since … I don’t know … a long long time. You really want to find the “offsetting counter examples” you might try reading the paper. Just a thought.
