The haters’ rap on Hillary is that her supporters don’t really know her — that she is deceitful, inauthentic, a chronic liar, a compulsive concealer of her multitudinous misdeeds, which include everything from accepting speaking fees to cold-blooded murder.
True, I don’t truly know her. But I know how she acted during the primaries, like her win was in the bag and that Bernie should’ve just gave up. I know how the DNC acted as well. You don’t need to know everything about someone to dislike them.
And yes, I can’t force you to dislike her. And that’s fine. But just because you like someone doesn’t mean they’re the best candidate for president. I mean, SHE LOST TO TRUMP, the most unelectable candidate other than herself. Let that sink in for a minute.
One of the most basic precepts of a patriarchal culture is that women aren’t to be liked. Used, consumed, exploited, but never liked. Never respected. Never admired.
But my dislike of her has NOTHING to do with the fact that she’s a woman. So I don’t really like how you bring sex into the picture, when for many people, it has nothing to do with it.
I also have no idea why this showed up in my recommendations based on my claps…
