I hear that. Though, should respect be higher than well-being?

That might sound philosophical and fluffy, but I mean: should people who disagree with a toxic belief allow that toxicity to continue? Should a black man, or woman, with internalized misogynoir be heard and respected for her beliefs? And if so, how do you allow a belief to remain (which I assume is what we mean by respect) and still engage and disagree with it?
