They’re out there. If you’re a reputable tech company known to pay a decent salary in usual tech centers, you’re likely being inundated with resumes from those sorts of people (firms like Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Broadcom, etc. routinely receive hundreds of resumes per advertised position). Many end up going to grad school to delay entering the workforce and to keep their student loans from going into repayment.
Strangely enough, the employment rates out of those schools correspond significantly to the rates of foreign students. In other words, its only the foreign students being hired, usually on an OPT to H-1B hiring schema.
