Time to get to work. Gorgeous day. Got up with the alarm and coughed all the guck in my lungs out for a while, did posts by la reina y su esposo — his perhaps the longest I’ve ever seen (except an old one… “The year of…” highlighting all the unexpected things that happened in 2008). Made oatmeal (apple, raisins, cherries, pineapple, yogurt) for breakfast… and now MUST turn my attention the “the long range” plan and fulfill my obligations so I will have a happy life.

And now… at 10:45 pm… ha! not so chatty today.

So… I did a lot of “work” work but didn’t finish my little task… but when I left it, it all became clear and in the morning I’ll knock it out.

I took care of the island meanwhile.

And I went to West S. to see “Girl Rising”… a movie about girls’ education. I really didn’t think the movie was done as well as it could have been. And I thought the Admiral Theater was at the “other” junction… the “real” junction… so I went down there… found a parking place I thought was a block or so away and grabbed it… and then didn’t find the theater. Turns out it’s at JK’s “junction” and I was half a block away when I turned off. Walking 4 blocks (+/-) about killed me and I just wanted to go home, but I didn’t let myself.

After the movie I went to the Metropolitan Mkt because they have Weck jars and bought three… and some already cooked chicken, a little cheese, and a piece of pumpkin pie. Ate some chicken, pie, a little cheese when I got home and was suddenly really happy. I think with no smell, hence no taste buds, not to mention just feeling crummy and being inside, I haven’t been eating enough without realizing it.

Then… back to el old computer-o and a few hours for the island. I finished Edwidge this afternoon before the movie… (and dropped some books at the B Hill library on the way home).. so I’m back to some Scandinavian mystery I think I might have already read. Another few pages should tell the tale. They’re digging up artifacts on a Swedish island… I remember that well… but it could have been another island and other artifacts but I don’t think so. This is when a paper book is much better… for skimming.

g’night me.
