Interesting read Stephan Dohrn! Fully agree on your approach of not blindly following any advice and just experiment (and combine!) things that work for you personally.

I especially liked the part on Talkers, Listeners and Thinkers. I find myself mixing things up; in some meetings I’m definitely a Talker but in many other situations, would consider myself a Thinker. I deliberately exclude myself from quite some conversations to make time for this in my schedule. That said, I’m a strong advocate of asynchronous communication (Hangouts Chat and email, in my specific situation) for many purposes and prefer to engage in writing as a Listener would. Does that make any sense to you?

One more question: do you know of any techniques for measuring your personal daily energy rhythm?
