__ “Brevity is the soul of wit” — Shakespeare. The best selling vodkas are filtered multiple times. Get to the point, say more with less.
A tendency of many people in corporate life want to “lawyer up” their lingo to sound as impressive as possible. Often this is to let everyone know how “smart” they are. After a while, there is a subtle nagging annoyance that builds up internally to corp-speak and “ya just don’t know why”, but the tedium causes deafness, aka “tl;dr”.
