4th of July Parade and Brunch in Downtown Woodstock, GA
Do you have plans for celebrating America’s birthday? If not, how about brunch in downtown Woodstock, GA at Freight Kitchen & Tap? We open at 10 AM (an hour earlier than normal) on Independence Day for a 4thof July brunch and parade. From 10 AM until we close at 4 PM, we’ll offer a special buffet and limited menu of staple items. Early birds get to dine on the patio and watch the parade floats, including our Freight train float you may’ve seen last year.
The 4thof July buffet resembles our Memorial Day buffet: barbecue pork, fried chicken, burger sliders, wings, rib tips, ham/turkey/cheese tray for customizable sandwiches, corn dogs, collard greens, gouda mac n cheese, baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad, salad, corn, mashed potatoes, fruit, etc.
Limited Menu: chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, salmon BLT, chicken cobb salad, salmon salad, crab sandwich, vegetable harvest, etc.
You don’t want to miss the parade view from our patio this 4thof July! Bring the family to Freight that day for brunch in downtown Woodstock, GA. You know the kids are already itching for candy and our patio is the perfect landing zone during the parade. Come see all the hard work the people of Woodstock put into their floats. We had a blast putting ours together last year and we’re more than ready to participate yet again. Rain or shine, it’ll all be fine. This Georgia heat has nothing on us. If Freight couldn’t stand the heat, we wouldn’t call it a kitchen & tap.
Stay tuned for announcements about our July brewery, wine, and drink specials and especially look forward to our new summer menu coming soon. It’s bound to include some pleasant surprises and changes based on guest feedback over the months. Thanks for all your continued support and have a happy 4thof July.
