Enjoy the ultimate 90s experience this Saturday August 12th at 7:30 PM when Gump Fiction plays at the Northside Hospital-Cherokee Amphitheater. The Woodstock Summer Concert Series never fails to get a crowd going and we love being part of the fun. But before you dine and dance on Saturday, you have so much to do tonight…

Lots Happening!

NFL Preseason Game — Come watch the NFL preseason game tonight at 7:00 PM when the Atlanta Falcons play the Miami Dolphins. While we don’t refuse service to Dolphins fans, beware of our unapologetic Falcons support.

Bourbon Tasting — Jack Smith of Atlanta Scotch Club is hosting a bourbon tasting and appetizer event tonight at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $35 online and $40 at the door. The menu consists of five bourbons and one American whiskey:

  1. Hirsch Small Batch Reserve (KY Straight Bourbon)
  2. Beacon Premium Reserve (American Whiskey)
  3. Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel (KY Straight Bourbon)
  4. Sixth Street (Straight Bourbon, Dime Box Distillery in TX)
  5. Wild Turkey Rare Breed (KY Straight Bourbon)
  6. Berkshire Smoke and Peat (Straight Bourbon, Berkshire Mountain Distillers in MA)

Whiskey Sour Happy Hour — Tonight and every Thursday night in August is Whiskey Sour Happy Hour presented by Angel’s Envy Bourbon. Try our special drink called “Angel Sour” made with Angel’s Envy bourbon whiskey, elderflower liquor, and fresh lemon juice. If you missed your chance to meet the distillers last Thursday, visit Freight on Thursday August 31st between 5:00 and 9:00 PM.

Looks like we planned your night for you! No need to thank us, just come hang out and unwind; maybe learn a thing or two about whiskey. You’ve got nothing to lose, yet so much to gain. We’ll save you a seat. Eat, drink, local, and go Falcons!
