Before Labor Day hits, join us September 1st for Friday Night Live. The theme is Downtown Tailgate, so put on your fan gear because it’s football season. Reformation Brewery will be partying with us at their beer tent right outside the restaurant. Bring some cash if you want to try their draft selection at the tent. Side note — September 1st is actually a huge day for the Georgia craft beer industry (ask Reformation why).
Tomorrow, Thursday August 31st, is your last chance to attend Whiskey Sour Happy Hour at Freight. This promotional event includes a special drink called “Angel Sour”, made with Angel’s Envy bourbon, elderflower liquor, and fresh lemon juice. Folks from the Angel’s Envy distillery will be at Freight tomorrow from 5–9 PM to hand out merchandise.
If you plan on attending any of these events, we highly encourage you to make a reservation with us. You can do so through our website or by calling the restaurant. Downtown Woodstock is very high volume when it comes to festivities, especially on holidays like Labor Day. Cherokee, Fulton, and Cobb county schools will all be closed on Monday, so we anticipate decent attendance that day. Don’t miss out on the burger bar and $4 local drafts!
