Scarecrow Invasion near downtown woodstock restaurants

The Scarecrow Invasion is here again. Every year, starting October 1st, Main St in downtown Woodstock is lined with original and inventive scarecrow creations. You can vote for your favorite scarecrow for only $1. The entry and vote fee proceeds go to an organization called GROW, which stands for Green Reaps Opportunity for Woodstock. GROW helps implement great design initiatives for the Woodstock community such as renovation of streetscape plantings, Elm St. Woodland garden clean-up, and the Woodstock elementary school trail & garden.

Well, the downtown Woodstock restaurants are no stranger to this tradition. Freight participates every year and enjoys being a part of it. Stroll down Main St. and check out our creation this year. Invest in a vote for the enrichment of our wonderful community. We feel confident that we have a shot at a prize this year!
