“Which Roads To Take When Traveling Across Florida”

Whether you are in the Trucking Industry and are Transporting something across the State or you are a banker from Oregon and want to take your kids to Disney World and South Beach in the same week there is various options for roads you can take when traveling across the Sunshine State.
In our logistics industry we tend to order the drivers to take US 27 when traveling within Florida , many times we don’t even have to tell them they just prefer to take it and i’ll tell you why.
Number one , because there are no tolls. If you take i95 there is going to be various tolls along the way and if you take Florida Turnpike you are going to get hit real hard. For drivers this means more efficient driving and more money in the pocket for owner operators.
Number two and this one is more aimed towards your regular out of state or out of country tourist is for the simple fact that by taking US 27 as opposed to Turnpike or i95 you will truly experience and get the feel for what Florida is really like even if just for a couple hours. In other words , the view.
US 27 starts in Miami right around Hialeah,FL and goes all the way up past Tallahassee and into GA ( really it goes all the way to Indiana but who has time for that ). It is the perfect route for Tourist to take going back and forth from Orlando to Miami.
Unlike i95 and turnpike where all you see is trees and billboards , US 27 takes you through the heart of the older Florida Towns, including Miami,FL, Clewiston,FL, Davenport,FL South Bay,FL, etc, etc, etc,. You will be able to see and pass through the heart of almost 30 different cities on the way from Miami to Orlando.
So if you are an out of towner and it is your first time coming to Florida or maybe you have come various times without ever leaving Miami or Orlando , US 27 is the road to take for all your intrastate travels . You will get to know the true Florida not just the big cities and major resorts.
