when you treat the young man in the photo like he is a nobody by continuing to have the white supremacist statues everywhere, he is going to treat himself like one. So he doesn’t pull his pants up.

While I understand your intent here, I think this statement reads as judgmental/ condescending to the African American man/ men in question. Their pants being pulled down/ up have nothing to do with their own self-esteem or pride, nor should you imagine that it is for you or me or anyone else to assume how they feel just based on how they are dressed
