The way I see it, the Left is divided mostly into three camps:

Those who are Team Hillary, who just want to rally around the Dem’s biggest celebrity and are so happy that FINALLY we can get a woman in office (a Venn diagram of these people and those who get offended at every perceived slight towards anyone at any time and then need a ‘safe space’ would probably just be a fucking basic kumquat-colored circle)…

Those who are completely off in literal left field, who are waiting for the communist revolution so that we can have the paradise they’ve dreamed of for years…

And those who are pragmatic enough to understand that while unregulated capitalism is utter insanity, but know that with good legislation, capitalism can work best for everyone. Those who believe that ethical, responsible, compassionate choices for our nation’s future can and must be made immediately. Those who understand that greed will finish off our nation and take a lot of civilization with us all in one fell swoop if we don’t take the fucking power back right fucking now. Those who are willing to look at ugly truths and claim their role and learn from all of it. Those who are willing to hope and plan for a future that we all can live in together.
