Lucy Bellwood

That’s beautiful, Lucy. I feel like a lot of people get caught up in the convention that says a breakup has to be utter and permanent and final and even brutal. But no matter what, there was a reason you loved that person once. People are so quick to throw away the good memories once they’ve gotten a little dirty with some emotional pain or betrayal. It’s nice to see an expression of affection for a thing, a memory, a time. Even if you do finally let it go, which is probably healthiest…I’d like for people to see a tiny bit of the good in what was, even if it was sullied by hurt and betrayal. Thank you for recognizing the value in something like that.
