The month of November marked the second month in the second iteration of Something Else.

This month’s treasury started off with the incendiary insta-hit from Dave & Mostack, No Words. Birthed from a studio session with the unstoppable hitmaker Steele Banglez and Mist, Dave & Mostack bounce off of each other to make a track that really encapsulates what a year the scene is having right now.

The sophomore track comes from a collaboration from Ebenezer & Col3trane, Language from Cole3trane’s new album ‘Tsarina’. The two crooners are setting themselves up incredibly for 2018 with song structures that’s very rarely heard in UK R&B.

November saw Fredo release the profound but bouncy anthem, Change as he continues to become a main player in the scene right now; Faze Miyake blessed us all with an album of hypnotic sounds with Transition being a personal favourite.

A penultimate closer comes from the genre-spanning Hak Baker who released his album Misfits, a raw and reflective project touching on Hak’s navigation through life and epitomised by tracks such as the soul-bearing Tom and the featured, MisFits.

The playlist also features music from Jidenna, KWAYE, MIKE, Jaden Smith & Jadu Heart.
