What is next for FreshTerminal?
When FreshTerminal was originally created we believed that it was the insightful data/information that would help produce industry professionals, our targeted users, to make better decisions and grow their businesses and increase profit. But somewhere along the way, we realized the value in developing the tools to make the most of this data, to really make it available, valuable and most importantly, actionable.
As FreshTerminal’s integration of data and tools becomes more stable, powerful, and usable, we are starting to plan for the future features that our users are looking for, whether they know it or not, and can extract the most value from.
Data-wise: The produce industry is rapidly changing, so we believe our database should be live to be fully reflective the ever evolving industry. What does that mean? Data must grow and adapt on its own! So in a way we are kind of internally training the data & algorithms, making them both intelligent enough to bring in more relevant data and evolve themselves, ALL AUTONOMOUSLY.
The process is basically a loop: Data enrolling -> Machine learning -> Self-evolving of data & algorithms -> Generating more leads for new data sources -> Aggregating -> Analyzing -> Qualifying -> Data enrolling.
For example, the produce industry could be one of the biggest industries in the world. There must be more than hundreds of thousands of produce companies, from big to small, that are not included in our database nor known by users in reality. Therefore, the data of these companies must be included progressively yet collectively to indicate that what you see on your computer screen is as close to a perfect reflection of what you can get in real life, but available with a few clicks of mouse.
Tools-wise: FreshTerminal.com is fundamentally a team collaboration tool streamed with actionable prospects, leads and insights. Thus, how we develop the features allowing users to leverage the prospects, leads & insights should be the real deal-maker.
Having realized this, we are brewing together what we believe will be a killer feature. Our new Event Planner will allow industry professionals to:
- use a single app to manage dozens of big industry events year-round, instead of downloading several apps to tackle each event’s needs which are oftentimes quite the same.
- find prospects & leads from the rich event data regardless of attendance, then convert them into our Sales Mgmt module, triggering follow-ups and collaboration.
We’re moving fast to develop these new features for FreshTerminal and it will only take us a couple of months to develop and bring online. So please stay tuned, and watch this space.
