Twenty One
3 weeks into business
Twenty One Days

Week 1 — First day was crazy due to a large amount of family and friends checking out the shop. The first day was also a great opportunity to educate my network what vaping is all about. Rest of the week was pretty slow. I admittedly made rookie mistakes, but learned so much.

Week 2 — Word of mouth started bringing in plenty of new faces as well as familiar faces from week 1. Some days were dead and some were pretty busy. At this point, I realized there was an insane amount of work to complete, and I’m entirely ready for the madness.
Week 3 — Familiar faces evolved into full on regulars. Everyday, at least a couple people made the big move of trying to quit cigarettes and switch to vaping. Though some days were slow, customer consistency skyrocketed.
Preparing for the GRAND OPENING (Late July)

Vapor Spot is starting off by making a deal with an upcoming rapper (HALO the Human) to a promotional deal. He’ll get his own line of juices as well as sponsorship for a music video shot by Always Music TV. Our store plans on sponsoring a variety of indie artists to create win-win exposure for both parties.
Another move is supporting artists by hanging a variety of local Fresno artwork. We are currently in talks with multiple artists to hang up their work on consignment. They get to expose their work to our clientele and if someone wants to purchase it, 100% of the money goes back to the artist.

To conclude our Pre-Grand-Opening game plan, we plan on stockpiling a variety of original content. Photography will range from modeling, vapor lifestyle, local arts, and Fresno culture. This will be a grand collaboration with a many amazing creative people.
What we are trying to accomplish is so much bigger than building a successful vapor shop. We are helping people quit smoking and we’re also enriching Fresno’s culture.
