In my opinion the whole thing really depends on the person. In general i’d say that solving creative problems is much easier if i’m not depressed… working for clients and finding problem-based ideas. It’s the same thing if i write a song for a special occasion.

But my best music pieces and my best free paintings happened during depression. It’s crazy.
