to myself. and the people who go without — every, single, day — in this country, and around the globe.

especially the kids. who asked for none of this mess. didn’t create it, and shouldn’t be required to clean it up.

i will not, nor have i ever, pledged allegiance to a piece of cloth made in china, where some woman is being exploited for 20 cents an hour. and i wouldn’t bother waving one outside my house? cuz it would be upside down and someone would harrass me over it. just like they used to about the “fuck the police” on the side of the bumpout, 16 years ago.
