IMAGINE sitting down to a feast of moussaka marinara, squash, olives and eggplant; Kenyan quiche made with seaweed…www.nytimes.com
This was one of the best black owned restaurants in DC. In 1991, or 1993. I’m pretty sure it was not 1994. Cuz I wasn’t at Howard in 1994. Lol They had 2 spots in DC. One on Georgia Avenue lol. The other? Georgetown. They dudes from Morehouse.
All raw food.
(What you eat? Has a lot to do with how you age. Try to stay away from shitty food. It’s not that difficult. collard greens, kale, cabbage, bok choi, mustard greens, Vietnamese brocolli, chives, scallions, aguacate, yuca, yautia, platanos, rice, beans, lentils, beets, Brussel sprouts, just [some] stuff I fuck with — on the regular. etc. Fairly inexpensive.)
They will be back at it again — they take EBT cards. And, they are actually — in reality — on the corner of “my” street.
