INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY # 4 : National Museum

Yesterday, (February 11, 2016) I went alone to our National Museum. I have enjoyed my tour there.

  1. Linnaeus and the Linneans — love this art. They restored the plants for us (modern people) to see if there’s a difference or not. Actually, most of the plants in the national museum are endangered nowadays.
  2. Old ship — I was amazed to this kind of art. It needs to much effort to do this ship. This art shows an old ship probably spanish era.
  3. Restored Butterflies — this is a real butterflies from 1900’s that was restored. And also, thw creator of this art, make this restored butterflies as a masterpiece. He/ she arranged it somehow with creativity
  4. Decoration with images of Fallow Deer — This are the plates that has a uniques designs of images of Fallow deers. Its decoration was so native. You will feel your Filipino blood just by seeing this art.
  5. Substitute for Ivory — This are the shells and bines from some animals that our ancestors created for the substitute of expensive jewelry during their times. For me, it is more beautiful than the precious one because it is very natural.
  6. Earthen jars — This kind of art is very fantastic. Yes, it is simple yet very pleasure to see. They used this to stored water from the river. They also used this for restoring food and also some filipino or tribes are using this for putting their love one’s dead body (who has been cremated)
  7. Ang hapag ni Almirante — This art is my second favorite of all I saw in the museum because it symbolizes family who eats together. Also, the table has the creative things that is used for eating.
  8. Berlin wall — this is my most Favorite because even though this wall is old, it has a vandalism in it. But nowadays we call it, street art. So it means that, people before appreciate art and creates art everywhere.
