Where I went today 12/02/16

I just don’t even with some people

also did a survey where all I wanted to say was that the fucking advert pushed the headline down to the bottom of the page and no content was visible, and also to request bitter melon soup, but there was no free text field until I got to the point where I could enter my name. Which is now Bitter Melon-Soup, as far as the Guardian survey site knows

One of the first webcomics I ever got into. If not the actual first. I don’t really know why I still read it :(

obligatory

I like the meta of this re-run. And the come-back in panel 3 is a thing of beauty

This did not increase my understanding of what’s going on a huge amount, but nobody need worry

wap?

Benteke!

I don’t know who she is, but she’s alright by me

team of somethings

:/ I know I am a dinosaur, but at least my CDs aren’t going bankrupt

Smooth mooves

huh

Gotta check those segments, even when you’re only trotting round

I did also read some stuff in a actual print newspaper — the G2 profile of Phil Collins, which explained some things, but didn’t make me feel any different about Sussudio. Sorry, Phil.

Tweets I faved

It was pretty out this morning

Of course, before they can be used books, someone has to buy the new book in printed and bound format, but still. There is something in me that still wants to be Bernard Black. I guess this ties back to the bit about me owning my CDs. Digital is really convenient (he writes on a blog) but it’s dust in the wind, dude.

And I read but did not fave tweets about The Independent going online-only. It’s all part of the thing.

Also, reading more of Duff’s autobiography. Did not enjoy the bit about the waterskiing accident, but did like the way he used to get into clubs in LA because he looked so odd they assumed he was foreign and didn’t understand English.
