Chocolate Banana Bread

A chocolate banana bread that is easy to prepare, made of only few ingredients that are probably lying around your kitchen, cruelty-free, oil free (but you can still use some oil if you want!), sweet, super chocolatey, yummy and still healthy!!

It tastes almost like sweet cake or some choc dessert, can’t believe it’s vegan! Wow
I think I’m going vegan now.. but I really love that cheese..

This beauty consist of SIX key ingredients

That’s like the base.. You can add any other ingredient of course.

Oats

Or oat flour if you want (you can buy one or just blend your regular oats).

Ripe bananas

RIPE!! or die.. Or I’m just joking. Don’t worry to use all black ripe bananas. More ripe bananas in your banana bread equals sweeter experience without adding lots of maple (or any other) syrup. If you want more info about ripe bananas and baking or you are just not sure about anything check this out.

Cocoa powder

Organic one is the winner!! Just pure cocoa.

Maple syrup

Or any other sweetener like agave syrup, xylitol, coconut sugar, ..

Cruelty-free milk

Soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, rice milk, cashew milk, hazelnut milk, oat milk, .. The choice is yours.

Baking powder

Cos we’re baking this guy.

Your seventh secret ingredient

Almonds on top, choc chips, pb, raisins, coconut chips..


Let’s do this

Preheat your oven to 180 degree celsius and blend 300g of oats until you get nice flour consistency.

Get some big bowl and mash four ripe bananas in it.

Add all the remaining ingredients (oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, maple syrup, plntbased milk) and patiently mix them until you get the right consistency.

Line the bottom of a loaf pan with a parchment paper. Pour the batter into it and bake for 35 minutes.

Let it sit for ten minutes and enjoy.

If you want to enjoy it at it’s best let it sit overnight.
