As mentioned on article it possible to have typescript type checking in vanilla JavaScript. I’m currently working that way. It’s not much publicized but you can write type declaration in JavaScript jsdoc comments. The you can use you IDE or a compiling server that check your code for validity. This have advantages. This eliminate compile time (the type checking process is parallel to app code executio). You keep working on native vanilla js and you are not obligated to resolve all type issues before see your code in execution.
