Affirmation

So there’s this night. I sat in a cafe with a friend who I accidentally met that day. The day has been planned for leisure reading. The purpose has been accomplished. As I was reading through John Green’s Paper Towns, we were laughing at the randomness of the songs played in the cafe.

He was answering some stuff. I was reading my book. Then, a song came in and he said, “This song is fit for you.” I prepared for the worse because I really do not want being caught off guard and showing my emotion especially, we are not that close.

I thought the song was unfamiliar until the chorus sang, “You’re beautiful. You’re beautiful. It’s true.”
