They took the NFL’s longest road trip last week to start Adam Gase’s coaching career, and now they get New England on the road. Then, after a bye next week (or close to it: They’re playing the Browns) they face the Bengals on the road in a Thursday-night game. Oof.

Complaints about scheduling are usually overblown. Sure, opening at Seattle is tough. But “New England on the road” could also be written as “New England without Brady.” As you said, the Browns are basically a bye. And the Bengals have to play the Fins on that Thursday after facing a tough Denver team. The worst thing about Miami’s schedule is that they have to play with Miami’s players.
