Ben & Jerry’s is hosting their annual “Free Cone Day”
Every year many dessert and food shops host an annual day where they give out free snacks. TODAY, April 16 is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s!
Who doesn’t love Ben & Jerry’s? Every year Ben & Jerry’s host their “Free Cone Day” in April. It’s their way of saying thank you to all of their customers who have supported them throughout the years. According to their CEO, Dave Stever, last year Ben & Jerry’s gave out over 970,000 ice cream cones. They anticipate this year to reach a million!
How to get free ice cream:
Go to the Ben & Jerry’s website. Click on “Learn more” under their Free Cone Day 2024 picture, then click on “Find your local Scoop Shop”, and finally put in your location and select “Participate Free Cone Day” in order to see which Ben & Jerry’s locations are taking part of the special celebration near you!
Head to Ben & Jerry’s from 12 PM — 8 PM. You can form line as many times as you want for a free ice cream scoop with no purchase necessary. You can select any ice cream flavor of your choice and some stores even let you select any cone, chocolate covered, sprinkles, or plain.
Ice cream flavors:
I have attached a link of all the ice creams available at their shops, this will make it easier to know what flavor you want ahead of time or look at while you wait in their long line. They offer a variety of bases, Dairy base, Sorbet and a lot of non-dairy options, such as Oat Milk, Almond Milk, and Sunflower Butter.

Besides the long list of delicious ice cream flavors constantly offered at Ben & Jerry’s, I was surprised when I arrived and found a QR code available for new and delicious flavors only for that event (click here for that QR code link). The two flavors my partner and I decided to try were the “Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz” & the “Coconut Seven Layer Bar.” The coffee flavor ice cream definetly matched up to its name, if you need a buzz, something to keep you going this one is perfect. The Coffee Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz is very cafinated and had bits of chocolate chips.
One thing to note is when you arrive to the event, there is quite a long line, it ended up taking me 15 minutes until I was able to get the free ice cream cone.
