Continuing the approval of governance proposal #43 and #44,f(x)Bridge has added new integrations to Cosmos Hub and Osmosis. You can now bridge your assets from Function X to Cosmos Hub / Osmosis and vice versa.
This upgrade is important for both the Function X and Cosmos ecosystem because Function X is one of the first IBC chains to launch an EVM-compatible chain. By bridging your assets from Cosmos Hub, Osmosis, and other IBC chains to Function X, IBC users can have direct access to EVM and have a bigger playground, especially with their idle LP assets.
As an example, Osmosis has the biggest TVL in the Cosmos ecosystem, with most of the liquidity tokens deposited on Superfluid Staking or other platforms like Quasar Finance. With the new access to an EVM-compatible chain, there will be more ways to utilize these LP tokens for other platforms, e.g., deposit Osmosis LP tokens to MarginX to create perpetual markets. We hope this integration will bring more innovations to the Cosmos ecosystem and will benefit Function X in the long run.
We have listed all the pairs registered on proposal #43 and more pairs will be supported in the next batch. The current supported pairs are the Top 20 LP based on the liquidity amount on Osmosis.
