Identity, Security, e-Government, FinTech, and Blockchain Conference in Tallinn, Estonia
Identit.ee organised events in London, Berlin, New York, Silicon Valley, Singapore, and Tokyo gathering thought leaders around the topic of Estonia’s e-Residency Program. Discussions and workshops centred around how Identity intersects with government, fintech, health, and Blockchain. Over 600 leaders in this space attended events, and this forms the core of a final event in the series, The Future of Identity Conference, in Estonia.
From September 1–3, 2016 the leading minds in Digital Identity, Fintech, Healthcare, and e-Government will converge on Tallinn to share and discuss numerous subjects revolving e-Identity. More specifically, Estonia’s e-Residency Program which:
offers to every world citizen a government-issued digital identity and the opportunity to run a trusted company online, unleashing the world’s entrepreneurial potential.
Just last week, German chancellor, Angela Merkel, was presented with an Estonian e-Residency card during her two-day visit to Tallinn. And this Thursday our CEO, Kaidi Ruusalepp along with other thought leaders will conduct panels in an attempt to stimulate ideas and conversation around the business opportunities e-Residency offers.
So, mark your calendars for Friday, September 2nd at 11:10 a.m. where Kaidi will be on the The Business of Identity – investing, opportunities, and commercialization panel with Tobias Stone, Candace Johnson, and Chris Leiter.
Additionally, it’s important to note, the reason why Kaidi is so closely involved with this conference. It is because Funderbeam has recently and successfully launched the use of Estonian e-Residency to authenticate Lead Investors for its investment syndicates. Funderbeam also uses e-Residency as a part of its Know Your Customer (K.Y.C.) process to on-board new Investors daily. She and Funderbeam have worked alongside Estonia’s e-Residency program for over a year and are looking forward to building this relationship in order to help investors and entrepreneurs enable their financial and or business growth to be fuelled across borders.
So, please join us this week to discuss, share, and learn more about e-Identity, in an environment where the focus will be on connecting and conversation. This will also serve as a great opportunity to meet the team delivering e-Government in Estonia.
