TWO YEARS POST GRAD

YAAAASSSSS,
Two years ago June 24th was the happiest day of my life or so I thought, it was going to be my university graduation, and unlike everyone with mixed emotions about living school, I was so happy, school was tiring and quite frankly I was exhausted with it. I looked forward to graduation with full blown enthusiasm and 2 years later I can say, GRADUATION is worth all the hype, is my life perfect LOL but it’s a journey, so here’s my 2cents on the lessons I have learned in this journey so far

FREE MONEY HAS FINISHED:
The era of free money is almost over if not truly over, in school you could afford to be careless and buy makeup, shoes, designer bags and so on, post graduation everyone expects you to be a money bag, so anytime you want to feel guilty whilst in school as you are buying stuff you love, tell yourself it’s an investment into your broke stage slay’age

SAVE FOR YOUR DREAM
About 90% of graduates leave university with some sort of plan or dream, be intentional about realizing your dreams, work hard, save up, look for investors, don’t allow yourself forget that thing that makes you tick because it might be difficult getting it.

BE OPEN TO THINGS THAT WERE BELOW YOU BEFORE
There’s dignity in labor, of course don’t go about doing dehumanizing things, but I can remember our chancellor telling us before we graduated even its pure water do it better than anyone, become innovative about small things, offer to do things in a better and more sophisticated way no matter how little.

IT’S A JOURNEY OF TRUST AND HOPE:
All my dreamers in here things might not always work out fine and its okay, it’s a journey of trusting and hoping , hold on to the promises of God in your life and enjoy the journey, the bumps would soon turn to stories to laugh at.

THINGS WONT JUST FALL IN PLACE DON’T BE SO HARD ON YOUR SELF
Please set goals, but also realize that things may not fall in the way you plan and most times its for our own good, allow yourself fail and learn from it, stop pursuing unrealistic perfection, this is also a process. Learn to allow it be a process, enjoy the process.

YOU MIGHT NOT GET TO DO YOUR PASSION AT FIRST
While your passion is so important, there are advantages to getting skills and capital from other sources, if you really love your thing, nurse it while learning from other places, building relationships and gathering experience, but while at this keep sight of your vision.

START SMALL, THINK BIG

Because this already sounds like a motivational speaker line am going to leave it like that, Start Small think Big, it is better to start small than not do anything at all.
Relationships
Because you are out of school doesn’t mean old enough for relationship or marriage, don’t allow anyone rush you with their time line, you have your life ahead of you, don’t be rushed into a decision, you could spend the rest of your life regretting.

DO OTHER THINGS AS A STUDENT.

You are a Part time Student and a Full time Human Being, Do what you Love, Learn about it, Improve, Love it some more,

That’s about all, ❤
