Pin Up Cosmetics a San Francisco based natural beauty company

Starting New Year Right With The Natural Cosmetics

Jan 20, 2017 · 2 min read

My New Year’s resolution was to start using more of the natural cosmetics in my daily routine. We know that skin is our largest organ and what we put on it matters as it will get inside of our body. So it only makes sense to treat it well with the natural, vegan ingredients.

If you shop at your local San Francisco Whole Foods, you might have seen Pin Up Cosmetics in there. It’s a local company that makes natural vegan cosmetics and beauty products with a fun Pinup reference on their packaging. This company was noticed by other local San Francisco boutiques and spas so it made me very curious to try it! And when I read their mission statement, it coincided with what I have wanted my New Year’s resolution to be:

“You won’t find toxic or irritating ingredients in our products. Our products are naturally free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulfates, silicones, petrochemicals, carmine, bismuth oxychloride and FD&C colors.”-Pin Up Cosmetics

Pin Up Cosmetics’ Best seller Rose Petal Face Cream, Vegan Mineral Foundation and Blush

At first I tried Pin Up Cosmetics’ best selling Rose Petal Face Cream and I really loved it. It works well during the winter months when you need extra moisturizing yet it leaves no heavy oily residue making it also very comfortable for the warmer months. Then I tried the Vegan Natural Foundation and Blush. Those two really work well together! Foundation is very versatile as you can use it dry as powder or mix it with the Rose Petal Face Cream and use it as foundation/BB cream. I personally loved the second type of application. And the Blushing Betty Desire Blush creates a perfectly fresh hue on the cheeks :)

In conclusion, I am so happy that I will be able to keep my New Year’s resolution thanks to the Pin Up Cosmetics and I suggest for you to join me!
