I don’t have a daughter, but I wish I did.

If I do, I hope I don’t need to have too many conversations like this. Not because they make me feel uncomfortable, but because I’d rather talk about her goals and ambitions and I hope that her self-worth comes from something other than men.

I also hope I can teach her to be honorable and respectful herself, and to expect nothing less from others, including from young men.
