Boston is known for being the Higher Education hub for Universities and Colleges; As for just how many are known on a global scale is far less than you may think.
In this list I will be going through 20 Universities and Colleges that are in the Central Boston Area. Some you may know- like the Ivy League schools: Some are very specific, that you may have never heard of the school.
The obvious ones (aka, most known) globally:

- MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology)- This includes MIT Sloan School of Management.

- Boston College- This includes- Carroll School of Management, Lynch School of Education and Human Development, and The Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society.
