I can relate to this point. If you don’t have the right degree from the right school and haven’t shown success it was a general rule you were pretty much f’d. I can tell you that I have seen this first hand in the 90's, 2000’s, and 201x’s. I always had a view from older pioneers that I looked up to that VC was a partnership to build something and that something had value which created returns not a boiler room and personal conquest. In a partnership both parties work for each other to make money it’s not and shouldn’t be a one way street.
