To me this is not about glamorizing failure — I really roll my eyes when I see the narrative about failure is good. Failure stinks and creatives/entrepreneurs all understand how to deal with it but it’s not ok. That being said understanding that failure isn’t the end game that it’s part of the process thats the big deal. Silicon Valley doesn’t love failure that is a myth. Silicon Valley tolerates failure. Silicon Valley LOVES THE COMEBACK!!! Those who move past “bumps in the road” and make it happen are the winners. It’s not how your fail it’s how you bounce back. Most people “tap out” and don’t comeback from a fail or bump in the road.
