Camden Park: Rides ranked
Camden Park is located in Huntington, West Virginia. It has been operating since 1903, and clearly since I am making this I have been there. Here is a ranking of the rides at Camden Park.
13. Carousel
While Carousels are historic, it is a kids ride, so I can’t rank this high on the list.
12. Sling Shot (SBF Visa Spinning Coaster)
The first coaster on the list. Once again, a kids ride, but this one has more spinning.
11. Camden Princess (Zamperla Rockin Tug)
This ride’s honestly are more fun than SBF Visa Spinners. This also has more spinning.
10. Lil’ Dipper (NAD Wooden Coaster)
We’re in the top 10! This ride is a really small classic wooden coaster. No airtime, but still fun for a kiddie coaster.
9. Whip
Like the name suggests, you get some whip. These are once again a fun family ride with the addition of being a classic.
8. Kite Flyer
You lay on you belly and go through what would’ve been a kids ride. It’s fun for what it is.
7. Flying Scooter
I enjoy flying scooters. This one was short however.
6. Tilt-A-Whirl
Tilt-A-Whirls are fun and classic. When they spin a lot, they are great.
5. Log Flume
This will get you wet, and in general is fun for a hot summer day.
4. Haunted House (Pretzel Dark Ride)
Whether this is a roller coaster or not doesn’t change the fact that this is a fun ride. The theming enhances the experience too and is just a fun classic coaster/dark ride that is over 100 years old.
3. Paratrooper
Paratroopers are really fun rides, and this is no exception. I don’t think I need to repeat the fact that this is a classic ride, but I will.
2. Rattler (Zamperla Midi Discovery)
While this isn’t the best frisbee ride, it’s still the second best ride in the park. Perfect addition for small parks like Camden Park.
1. Big Dipper (NAD Wooden Coaster)
Here it is, the best ride. This classic (there I said it again) coaster gives some decent airtime and is fun for everybody.
