This need for examining the total experience is true in my area of specialty — task management tools. For example, users need a perfectly coordinated set of notifications which work together across all apps, across all platforms. Achieving this today is impossible: notifications occur as a cacophony and no app exists to coordinate them all.

Users want control, but there is no way to achieve it.
