Prayers sent outward are the hopelessly misdirected moans of a superstitious intelligence. Prayers sent inward are the machinations of an intelligence trying to pretend it is not superstitious. If no one answers (and of course, no one will) you can pretend you never asked to whatever degree you wish to, or make other excuses you’ll never have to justify.
