I’m astounded at the number of people who miss the point of “blaming” inanimate objects and instead lecture you about who is really to blame (and even that they get wrong by neglecting to look into history for answers as well).
I’m not an anti-2nd amendment advocate at all. The opposite maybe; in theory. But practically, I do question the wisdom of standing behind it so vehemently when the extremely high availability of firearms is clearly not working in the public’s best interests. It scares me to think that so many intelligent people are unable to analyse this situation thoroughly and reach more logical and far-reaching conclusions outside of, “but … but … the constitution is paramount.” We’ve changed it when it suited us before, why not now?
