You do realize that Norway and Denmark are far more comparable to a state, than the State in the US correct? Please, do some number analysis and see how well Norway, or Denmark, compare to the state of California versus the federal government. Which do you think is a more relevant comparison?
To your point on getting rid of government, I think the conversation has already explicitly pointed out that most libertarians do not seek the complete removal of government. I’m starting to lose confidence in this conversation being productive. There have been several points that seem to be evidence that there is little interest in evolving with the dialog and instead simply trying to reframe the conversation to fit the points you are trying to make.
I’m not interested in a conversation where we say, “Look, it’s just going to be this way so you should just start changing your views.” That seems utterly lacking in any valid reasoning, and completely devoid of value for my time. Again, I’m all for having a federal government. That government should act as the latticework for which the social vine to grow upon. It should not attempt to be the entire ecosystem from which the vine must survive.
