Understanding context can greatly improve the way we initiate a conversation. When a person visits my website from Medium or Twitter, chances are much higher that they’re interested in design. They might have come across a tweet, article or other reference on one of those platforms. I wanted to add this thought to the conversation :
Li’s words are, to some extent, disgusting, but he did show some central ideas. As presented in his tape recording, he interpreted most of crypto projects as “bubbles”. The consensuses they build their projects on, however, are not rooted in knowledge, experience, or technological R&D, but just from blind trust on “influence”. Li repositioned himself as “an influence” too, or as a “Internet Celebrity”, for he has got so much fans that still brought him enough revenues in bear market.
