Waiting

There’s a moment you start creating scenarios in your head that you know it won’t ever happen. But it feels so good that you decide to visit this alternative reality once in a while, just to warm your soul.

I’m planning moments that won’t happen
Wondering places we won’t be together
But I can’t help the urge to see you smiling again
And laughing about anything at all
To listen to your polished french accent
To look into your eyes and feel secured.
I would cross the ocean for all that
Just because I need to see you.
Even though I know you don’t feel the same
It would worth all the struggle anyway.
Until then I keep waiting
Uselessly
I keep loving
Hopelessly.

ps¹.: I keep wondering if the summer breeze will ever touch my body as gentle and softly as your pale skin are.

ps².: Every once in a while comes to my mind the memory of you saying that I came in your life as a sunshine, and it fills up my heart with joy.
