A Response to “The End of Twitter”
Anthony De Rosa

This exactly. When people declare that it’s the end of Twitter, everything they say usually sums up to “Twitter is a failure because it’s not as big as Facebook.” So what? While there is some crossover, Facebook is really about connecting with people with whom you’ve agreed to be “friends,” while Twitter is about connecting to the world. Facebook wants to be more like Twitter and Twitter wants to be more like Facebook, but they’re different creatures, and that’s exactly how I and many others on Twitter want it to stay. As soon as Twitter as a company embraces what it is and capitalizes on that, additional monetary success will follow.
