How To Earn Money Online

Day 311/365: It’s all about finding your niche

Find your niche.

That’s the only advice I can give you if you want to earn money online. I’ve been doing it for over 2 years now. And when I say niche, I mean specific niche, not just a general “I’ll do some writing” niche.

I did that for my first year of being a freelancer. It didn’t work because I used to do everything and anything for the dollar. Then I started to close in on my niche and found out that I was better writing about certain things.

Over the next year, just because I know had a niche, I was able to make a steady income in a very diverse and competitional market. Finding your niche is applicable in both the offline and the online markets.

If you love making clothes, for example, you can start out by making socks.

Winter socks.

100% woolhandmade winter socks.

There, you just niched your passion for a very specific sort of product. No, you’re not closing in on your possible clientele. You’re expanding your possibility to be the very best 100% wool handmade winter socks producer around!

Having the entire market at your feet is impossible. I wanted to do everything writing related. You might want to do it with clothing. The truth is, the more you want to enclose on the whole market, the less you’ll be able to do anything relatable.

Only when you decide the close in and niche your business to one specific part of the market, and set your goal to completely overtake it, that’s when you can really start to grow and make some money online.
