How To Make Gold Out Of Shit

Day 308/365: It’s a matter of choice

It’s normal to have a bad experience. Heck, if I’d have a dollar for every time that happened to me, I’d be rich as hell. I’d be as rich as the richest Chinese guy selling fakes in the central market of Shanghai.

When dealing with a bad experience or situation, it’s best to try and make the most out of it anyways. There are two truths about these types of situations. Number one, the situation is over and, for all intents and purposes, it might never happen again. Two, the situation didn’t kill you, so whatever has happened, you are still alive and can learn to live with it.

Making the most out of a bad experience? I’m talking about learning from it, of course. Learn from a mistake. Learn from a negative situation. Learn from a bad interview. Learn and not just learn, but improve on your weaknesses. Learn from it, and then change yourself, your skills and ways, for the better.

Making the most out of a negative event is only possible if you decide to learn from it. Not dwell on it. Not overthink it. Just learn and extract the teachings of the set moment. It’s not hard, but if done right, it’s so rewarding.
